Mehsi in East Champaran, Bihar, became known for its pearl button craft. From the early 1900s, artisans shaped buttons from oyster shells, building a cottage industry around shell detail and careful handwork.
This piece draws on that heritage. The design honors natural texture and the patience of Mehsi makers, blending modern jewelry styling with a traceable craft story.
